Do we need to restart the server after pasting the image files at the destination folder on the BO server so that we can use boimg://image.jpg to reference it?

I have just posted a .jpg file on my 3.1 install and its seems to be refusing to look at it. 
Any ideas… is .jpg not the right file for 3.1?

I just looked at it… some of the .JPG files worked earlier and the reason for them seems to be that .JPG is in upper case.
I am still to try the lower case .jpg files but it would be stupid, if it works…

Not really. Linux is definitely case sensitive.

It should not be the case in windows environment?
I am going through a big business process even to put a file at a particular folder… it would take time for me to even confirm this.
