I am using BOXI R2 WEBI. I have placed a logo in D:\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 11.5\Images\logo.gif
and in WEBI report, set properties 1) read cell content as -> Image URL 2)Background image as boimg://logo.gif
I am having total 9 WEBI reports and I set the same properties in all the reports. I am using these WEBI reports in a dashboard application.
When I see the dashboard, the logo in WEBI report does not appear all the times. When I switch between one tab to other tab,logo appears one time and but not next time. Please let me know how to fix this
Do you have more than on App Server (eg two nodes…)
We have one Web Server and Two App Servers, and so any pics we load up we need to load on both servers, otherwise when it’s going between them it will sometimes see the pic, and sometimes not…
I cant say with surety if this solution applies to your problem as well… it happened with me last week. There were two logos in single report and one was being displayed and 2nd was not…
Then i found out that that 2nd logo was not having spaces in the gif file name… like “logo 2 type.gif”, i changed it to “logo_2_type.gif” and it worked…
It looks silly but try something like this. It may work.
