Dario,
The number of trials before locking a user trying to log can be set in the
supervisor menu under tools/option/general supervisor.
You can also disable the locking of the user.

There was a discussion thread back in April discussing this. Search for
Password Lockout in the message header. There is a solution where you
manually update a record in the repository. There is no way to do this
with the Supervisor module, so you must do it manually.

Hello, we’ve got a problem with BO’s login mechanism. After three invalid
logins the users login is being disabeld. Is there any possibility to
increase
the number of the trials or to disable the locking of the user ?
I just posted a tech note on our web site regarding this question. The web
address is:
Note that this solution requires manipulation of the repository, and is
therefore not supported by Business Objects at all. We’ve made the attempt to
test this solution, and it appears to work. Exercise caution (meaning back up
your repository) before making any changes!
