Locking Webi Reports during BODS loading

Hello All

I am quite new to sap(bods,webi) and recently, my ETL jobs have been failing because, when exploring reports on webi, this later had to read some tables and sometimes lock some tables upon which data services had to input data into. This have been creating so much conflicts and job errors.

I wish to know if there is a way by which I can make inaccessible some WebI reports or the whole BO while BODS are not completed.

There is no easy way to disable report access in BO while the DS jobs are running. Would require custom code using the BO API.

I figured out that it wont be easy…I am happy to know a solution exists.

Please can you give me more infos about the SAP BO API ?
