Locked out Administrator group to control a user account

I inadvertently locked out the Administrator group to control a user BO account using the ADMIN tab in the CMC. (I thought I was using the member of/groups tab). Long story short, even the administrator group (us) only have the right the VIEW this user’s account.

So we are locked out of this account and this persons objects, recurring schedules and FAVORITES folder! :wah:

Is there a SUPER ADMINISTRATOR account that can help with this?
We are on BOXIR2 SP5 on Windows 2005 Server with Oracle 10g DB repository.

Sure, the native ADMINISTRATOR account. There isn’t anything that you can’t do with this account. Though you can deny access to objects for this account, this is the account you use to get it back. Hope that helps.

Based upon other things I have read on BOB this is what I was guessing.

When our administrator gets back tomorrow, I will have her log in and alter:

USERS>VTAYLOR>RIGHTS>Administrator – to --“full control”.

Then the Administrator should be able to click to the “member of” tab in this account “VTAYLOR” and change her group access.

Hope this works.
Thanks for your reply!
