loading data from oracle source to SAP BW ( PSA)

Hi ,

I need to develop a workflow to load data from oracle tables into PSA table in BW. I am new to Data Integrator and SAP. Could someone please provide guidance on how this can be accomplished?

  1. Can I create a data flow with oracle tbale as source and PSA table as target?
  2. How do I import the PSA table into Data Integrator tool? Is it similar to how one would import a relational target?
  3. Are there any known issues trying to load data into PSA using Data Services?

ad 1) correct
ad 2) For the ETL user it is the same thing, you have one datastore of type Oracle, another datastore of type BW Target and you import the objects.
ad 3) The setup of the BW system takes some extra steps, an RFC server etc.
