Load of named users from CSV

Hi,

New users can be loaded in CMC from a CSV file. However, this method creates new users as concurrent users. We have a named user license, and no license for concurrent users. So a bulk load of users from a CSV file fails. is there a way how to create new users as named users?

It is my assumption, that users are created either as named users or concurrent is bases on the new user option, but that might be because I am also using Windows AD.

Otherwise there is plenty of scripts out there, that let you change users from NU to CSBL and vice versa.

Hi,

That’s correct for a newly created WinAD users. However, when you bulk load users from a CSV file, they are created as enterprise users. And in the settings of the enterprise authentication in CMC there is no such option to create new users as either named or concurrent.

We have a tool that can do this. But only when a user has been already created. The problem I have is to create new users from a CSV file.
