We are currently experiencing stability problems with Live Office. The plug in itself crashes regularly, but it also makes Excel itself more unstable, especially for users that also use other excel plug ins.
After raising these issues with SAP, the reply was that we should disable the plug in if it causes instability :?. After this reaction we have lost the confidence that SAP is putting any effort in Live Office.
We are currently on XI 3.1. Will upgrading to 4.1 also offer improvement of Live Office?
On the other hand, Microsoft .NET has some nice functionality, so we are discussing weather or not to replace Live Office with a home made .NET tool to get BO data in Excel. Any advice on this would be helpful!
