Live Office Report not retrieving data on some client PCs

Hi all,

We’re having a LO report that retrieves data from one Webi Report in BOE.
The report has 3 parameters one of which is a date. The parameters are bound to Excel cells.

The report works fine for most of the users, just on some PCs it does not return any data. If the person logs on to a different PC, it works. So it apparently has something to do with the PC setup.

I’ve tracked it down to the date parameter/prompt. If I don’t bind this variable to the cell and enter it via the prompt, the report returns data. If I bind it to the cell, it doesn’t.

Country settings in control panel are the same for all clients (UK and DD/MM/YYYY format). This is what the cell shows, this is what the prompt shows after the report has run without retrieving data as “Current Value”. And that’s what I enter when I do it via prompt. Still, last refresh works, bound cell refresh does not.

Any idea what else I could look for?

just a small follow-up. This was actually solved by not binding the date prompts to an Excel cell but letting the prompt window pop up and the user enter the date there.
No idea why that worked and the other solution did not, probably some date format issue but I could not find one…
