Possibly idiotic question but is it possible to JUST install Live office? I’m trying to install Live Office 4.2 SP3 but I get the error that Live Office 4 isn’t installed. I tried to find just Live Office 4 in SAP and can only find SPs and Patches. Does a user need a base install of BO with Webi and all to install?!

You don’t need BO client tools in order to install Live Office
It seems that you must have downloaded the Live Office 4.2 SP3 Patch instead of a full installer
From the SAP Software Download site you’ll need to download from “Installations & Upgrades” section, not “Support Packages & Patches” if you haven’t installed Live Office on the machine previously

Buzz, thanks for that. Told you it was a dumb question but it got me sorted, thanks. I was downloading only the SPs and Patches… found the Live Office full install buried in my EDGE software area…
