Its said that Live office is used to convert webi, Crystal, etc into .xls file inorder to work on Xcelcius and its also said that its not a web based application, then why does live office has an option which is related to URL on the log on window?

I am not an expert with Live Office. But I know that it can take a report or a query and import that data into a Excel spreadsheet. But it is taking the data via SAP’s Business Objects application (we are using SAP Enterprise 4.0). Which you have to log into (and it is a web based application).
