When we login to WebIntelligence, we cannot see the list of available universes. What’s funny is that we were able to see them a few days ago, but can’t anymore and there has not been any changes made to our environment. Any ideas?

Has anyone changed the user rights in the Repository for this userid? Have you tried logging on with a general supervisor id to see if you can at least see them listed for an id with access to everything?

All user’s cannot see the list of universes including general supervisors.

Can you see the Univ from Full Client? Is connectivity to Univ Domain from WebI server all right?

i’ve the same problem!!!
i see with full client the universe, i can import it. On the same machine i’ve webintelligence. i see the reports, but i don’t see the universes exported.

Do you have access to supervisor? If you have, then login to supervisor, go to “Universe” tab do you see it there?
Or try creating a report with Full client, do you see the universe as an option while creating a new report?

Yes. I see it on supervisor. There are 2 universes exported and i can create new report with full client on it.

Did you refresh the list of Universe in WebI? WebI caches this list in memory it can potentially be stale.

Ok. I’ve resolve the problem!!!
i did:
renamed the bomain_demo.key in bomain.key
replace JRE 1.4.2_03 with JRE 1.4.2_09
delete the exported universes in the repository with Supervisor
ri-exported the universes in the repository.

try to rename the “bomain*.key” that u have in “bomain.key”.
