Can you please tell me how to get the list of all the Objects, Class names, Object descriptions, Select query behind the object, Object type and Qualification from the existing universe. I tried to save the Universe as .pdf but all I could get are the Object names and the class names from the above list. Please help me how to get the object descriptions and SQL statements as I have to document all these in excel sheet. There are about 500 objects in my Universe and doing them one bye one manually is a tedious process. Please help
Hi, if you’re using the IDT and generating .UNX files, there is no option right now. For .UNV files created with the Universe Designer then there are utilities in the BOB’s Downloads area that will help you out. Unfortunately, there is no SDW for the IDT as of yet, so automation tools are not available yet.

Thank you for the link. I have downloaded and saved the Document a Universe (XIr2).xls for version XI 3.0. I have enables macros and clicked on Document a Universe and I get an erroe with Microsoft Visual Basic. The error is Compile error: Cant find a project or library and I am not able to proceed further. Please let me know how to proceed now.
Also I see that we get 9 sheets in the excel finally on Control sheet, Tables, Columns, Joins, contexts, Classes, Objects, Conditions, CRYSTAL_PERSIST. I do not understand the contents of Sheet1 and sheet9. Could you please tell me what are there?
Also my question is do we also get the descriptions of the objects in the excel sheet?
