Last week I had set up SMTP email settings in my BO enterprise. Now the users can send or schedule instances using email option. My question is how can we find out the instances which ran using email settings or in other way used SMTP server.

In order to discover what has left your system, Auditing must be enabled. XI 3.0 added lots of useful auditing here. To view content leaving the system via schedule before it actually runs, you’ll need to use the SDK or other third party tools to read this information from the CMS.

Thanks for oyur input. I apologize for not mentioning the environment. I am working on BO XIR2 (SP3) SQL Server. I have enabled the auditing, but I am not able to figure out the instances created through job server which are using SMTP.

I think the bad news is then auditing won’t do it for you, but the other options still would.
