Link IMT to webi Report

Hello All,

Need the code that is used to hyperlink an IMT to a webi report.

Universe being Used : Island Resorts Marketing
webi Report : Prompts are on Country and Resort.

Analytic : IMT

I am making this analytic by using the options as below:

Select Data to Display: Universe Query Metric
X -axis - Country.
Y - axis - No of Guests

I want to link the datapoints in the IMT to the webi report.

The code that I am using is:

openAnalytic.jsp?DocumentName=Drill+Test+WebI&RepositoryType=C&RepositoryName=Report+Samples&DocumentExt=wid&DocumentId=AY0FQ57OCGhCnk1rr8Fzl_M&mode=full&nbPrompts=2&lsSCountry=$DIM_NAME$&lsSResort=$METRIC_NAME$

But when I click on the datapoint, it navigates to the webi report, but no data is shown.

Please help me with this.

i’m wanting to drill on an IMT at the various points as well but haven’t been able to find out how to do it.

Can anyone lead me in the right path?

Hi all,

Are you sure about the data that you pass via the prompt?
Try to navigate to the report (no data is shown) and then refresh it. When you refresh the report the data that you passed is shown in the prompt and so you can see what’s wrong…

Be careful if you have changed the name of your metric. I had exactly this problem until I did as Bo_Arale suggests and refresh the report. I found that Bob was passing the original metric name and not what I’d changed it to. I had to go back and rename all my metrics to the meaningless rubbish that Bob generates automatically and then it worked perfectly!

Hi Guys

I’m in the same boat with the same problem. I’m unable to drill from the pie analytic to a webi report.

+Rent+Arrears+by+Patch&RepositoryType=C&RepositoryName=Corporate+Dashboards&DocumentExt=wid&DocumentId=AS1T4alcG51JlBJfuyP0Wx8&mode=full&nbPrompts=1&Arrears+Area+Level+2=$METRIC_NAME$

“Arrears Area Level 2” is a name of the dimension which is a prompt one
in the webi report.

When I click on the data point, it shows no data. And when I refresh it, it shows $METRIC_NAME$ in the prompt. Wierd, it’s supposed to resolve it when passing from pie to webi.

Please help. Quite Urgent. Thanks for your time.
