LDAP vs SAP SSO authentication

HI Folks

We currently are using Enterprise authentication for our users and planning to have LDAP or SAP authentication. I have couple of questions.

  1. Which is the best approach LDAP or SAP SSO? and why?
  2. How to configure from enterprise to LDAP or SAP SSO authentication?

any help will be appreciated.

Hi Rooba,

any luck with your task! I am going to configure one of them soon as well,
I did some reading for SAP authentication, I think this info will be required from SAP:

  • SAP user account that is authorized to access SAP role membership
  • System ID
  • Client Number
  • Message Server and Logon group if you set up load balancing
  • if you didn’t set up load balancing then you will need (Application server and system Number)
