We have been trying to establish connectivity from Data Services to an IBM MQ over SSL using JMS Adapter (MQ - CLIENT options)and so far it has not been successful. Have installed the IBM MQ libraries for JAVA and JMS and inclueded the jar file paths to the CLASS PATH in the adapter configurations.
Have a couple of questions:

Does the Queues in MQ have to be JMS Administered when using CLIENT option on the adapter? In other words - does it require a connection factory to be created - and a JMS queue to be configured on IBM MQ?

Is a self-signed certificate good enough for ssl connectivity? We have been provided a self signed certificate for Dev and QA (.arm format)- which has been successfully imported into the keystore.
The error message from the Adapter seems to be very vague and it doesn’t show the linked exception as well.
Apparently, the server logs on the MQ side show the request reaching their end but then drops without any visible errors.
