We have JDE running on an AS400, has anybody managed to ‘key’ directly into this product by creating universes over the JDE tables ??

We have but don’t recommend it. Performance is bad, and connectivity via IBM Client Access unpredictable. If you do go forward w/ this, I recommend only using IBM Client Access (i.e. not some other ODBC), because we had bad experiences with another vendor, and BO would not support anythiing other than IBM CA.
