I have installed BOXI v3.0 on my laptop for test purposes. Our production runs BOXI R2 and when I try to build a WebI XI R2 report from my laptop (using production universes), it hangs. When I try to build a WebI v3.0 report, the browser aborts and closes abnormally. Anyone facing this situation and how did you work around this issue when moving from BOXI R2 to BOXI v3.0? Thanks in advance.

Has anyone else run into this problem and have a solution? I have a couple of users who are having the same trouble. We are on BOXI 3.1 and using IE 7.

check the java versions,for r2 and r3
For r3 it supports 1.6 i guess

As per my previous experience this seems to be a temporary issue mostly. It only hangs or causes worries few of the times while rest of time its as fine as ever.
I have not implemented the solution but the solution might be issue with your communication to server. As you are working as a client or third aprty you have to check either you are able to establish contact with BO server-CMS or not, many times this solves the problem. or restarting the CMS can solve the problem.
