Issue with Crystal Report chart available with VS 2008

Sorry, if i am asking something very basic but since i am very new to crystal report i am not able to get over with the issue by myself.

I have some columns in a Dataset as below and it consist of certain records accordingly.

Columns
RoomTypeText , NoOfBedsAlloted , NoOfBedsPresent , NoOfstudentsPen

Data
A , 10 ,12 , 2
B , 20 , 30 , 10
C , 2 , 5 ,3

All I want is to map the value of NoOfBedsAlloted,NoOfBedsPresent and NoOfstudentsPendingAllotment depending on RoomTypeText.

I used “on change of” RoomTypeText and put the other three fields in the “show value” section but it takes “count of NoOfBedsAlloted” which is not required.

The Don’t Summarize check box shows disabled and I cannot check that also. It is uncheck by default.

Hope i could clear my problem.

Please assist urgently.

If I understand you correctly, you should be able to just sort by RoomTypeText and put each of your fields in the details section of the report.
