Issue in using @Variable('BOUSER') at LOV

Hi All,

I am using @variable(‘BOUSER’) in LOV query to filter out LOV based on User ID, when the main prompt is displaying BOUSER also displaying as prompt below the main prompt. LOV’s are getting refreshed only when User ID is entered as prompt input.

If I have 5 prompts like this then BOUSER prompt appearing for each main prompt. Obviously its painful to enter the User ID for each prompt

Someone please help to get rid of this

I have no idea exactly how you are trying to use this or what version you are on.

Theres a couple of good posts on row level restrictions here:-

Did you happen to freeze your LOV object’s SQL ? @variable will behave like an @prompt if you do so.

Shobhit_Acharya,

By Freeze your LOV do you mean check the box “Do not generate SQL before running”? or are you referring to something else?
