Is it possible to start a new set of sections?

I need to display a set of tables for a dp as master/detail with a description at the top outside the first section (so it only appears once)

I then need to show another description relating to another set of tables derived from dp2 followed by another master/detail section.

Then again for a third…

How would i achieve this? I’ve tried to define the description as a variable and set master/master/detail but it will only allow me to create the description as a detail object and it doesn’t really solve my problem fully anyway.

Any help appreciated

probably not the solution you want but I would put each top level description on a separate report tab with each set of related sections.

The problem is that the page ‘may’ only contain 1 table per section with 2 cells making up the table, so I’m reluctant to commit a new tab per dp.
