Is BO Document Linking possible without using Designer?

I want to create a link between two documents with parameter passing, but I don’t want to have to add objects to the Universe. Is this possible? If so, how?

Sure. You just have to build formulas that generate the exact same string as you would have generated in designer. The BO anlaytic apps do it this way.

You still need to generate a URL that includes the OpenDocument function. See this for the target syntax.
