i have recently went to some interview in an mnc company,they have asked me this questions

1)They are 2 tables A & B with 2 joins does it
create loop between them?with example?

2)what do u mean by merge dimention?

3).difference between cmc and supervisior?

if anybody knew answers to these questions please give me answers

Yes, it does create a closed path. However, it doesn’t produce the effect of a loop. For loop to have its effect, there should be a dimension table which is shared, creating a double restriction and limiting the records.

Merging is the process of creating a link between two queries, based on an object that has common values so that the object becomes ONE.
