don’t know about 4.0.x, however from 4.1.3 ok unless you are on Windows 8 (8.1 is supported).
Edit: and supported from 4.0.9 onwards.
For detailed information check the Supported Platforms Guide (PAM) on SAP Support Portal.

Thanks, we are on 4.0 and want to ensure IE 11 will work.
Anyone else having this scenario or has more info; greatly appreciated.

From the PAM -
IE 11 - Internet Explorer Compatibility View is supported with BI 4.1 SP01+
I very much doubt it will work with 4.0 install without any issues.

Thanks for the quick followup.
I forwarded this on and the response I received was that IE11 will be run in compatibility mode for our intranet addresses. If it is okay in compatibility mode than we should be fine.
Not sure I know what ‘compatibility mode’ means but thinking its not running directly with IE so… Fingers crossed I guess

Compatability Mode is a mode in IE Tools > Compatability Mode.
I have heard people having issues with certain things just not working and compatability mode does not always fix it.

Officially 4.1 SP3+ and 4.0 sp9+ is on IE11 supported list. I run 4.1 Sp4 on IE 11 and havent had any issues. Earlier, while we were on SP2 , we had applied Enterprise mode via a site list to render sites in compatibility mode for IE10 [msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dn640699.aspx]

Hope that helps

thanks, and if I try to run BO using the Compatibility solution it this something I will need to have the users do individually or is there a global setting I can have set up.
thanks again.

Um…did you read the sentence “Enterprise Mode” and look at the link above?

I would suggest testing this very carefully, usually its just a few things that don’t work, expecially within Infoview.
Obviously, this is compounded by not everyone experiencing the same issues, or not as the case may be.
