i’m trying to install BI 4.3
But setup.exe starts and stop immediatelly without any error message.
Anyone had this problem ?
Look under the user ID that you are running the installation package under:
C:\Users\%User%\AppData\Local and then usually a single digit number.
For whatever reason, the Business Objects installer writes install log files to that location. There should be an error log file that will tell you why the install exited.
If I had to guess, I would guess that you have a suppressed reboot pending on the server. If you just reboot it, the install might start running but the error log will tell you for sure.
Thank you John, i’ve found the problem, it was just a corrupted zip file and so BO setup didn’t start…
