i am doing clustering. i have installed the first box with required component. In the second box i am installing only CMS. At the time of installation it is prompting for existing cms name. i have provided the cms name which i have already installed. After entering it is showing error…
Error logging onto CMS with credentials supplied.
I cannot go ahead. CMS is up and running fine.
Could anybody assist me where I am going wrong. It is solaris server.
What operation systems are you using for Clustering ?

What database are you using for the CMS database ?
Check the following:
a) Do you have any firewalls ? If yes, open the required ports…
b) Use correct user/pass for the database.
c) Make sure you have the PATH variable correctly set on Windows machine(s) and LD_LIBRARY_PATH on UNIX machines.
d) Make sure the database is up and running… and accepting connections. Use a third party tool like TOAD or any other SQL utility to connect to database.
It is solaris box. no firewall is present. ports are open. i can ping in between boxes. Dont know what other causes. Could you please tell me LD_library_path is fine. i can install BOXIR3.2 independently on both server, but when comes to clustering the isssue is occurring.
Add the hostname entries in the /etc/hosts file in both the machines and try again… If still installation is not proceeding check the installation log file for more info…
