Installable Location - Does it matter?

Hi All,

I was installing some FP for LiveOffice after installing base version 3.1.
But,as I removed the installable for LiveOffice 3.1 after installtion it threw error file “liveOffice.msi” is missing .

Is it necessary to keep all the installable in the machine in the same location from where the installation is run first. As it keeps throwing one error or other if I move them or remove them after installation even if I am just installing a FP or SP for it.

Is this the .exe or setup file you are talking about? If yes, should not have a problem in removing. If no, dont remove any file.

You can download liveOffice.msi file from WWW and put it into the proper location. That should help.

No, these are the files that you can see as part of product installable.
But, I don’t understand why do I need to keep all the base installable in the same place in order to install the FPs or SPs over it. :?:

Attached is one of such error when you remove/or move the installable.
