Inserting a JPEG image into a Report

Hi!

Does anyone know of limitations to inserting a JPEG image at the header of a report? I am using Reporter and it will accept a bitmap image but not a JPEG.

I believe only *.bmp and *.tiff image files can be inserted into a BO Report (this seems to be also true for BO v6).

You might have to convert your *.jpeg file to a *.bmp or *.tiff file first.

Instead of Insert, Picture… use Insert, Object… Then switch to Create from File and browse to your jpg … voila!

The Limitations is if you save the report as PDF then it doesn’t show the image.

I’m trying this and keep getting an icon displayed rather than the jpg image. I don’t have the ‘display as icon’ box ticked. Where am I going wrong?
