I have several Input Control objects in the Input Control tab and I am noticing that the sort of each input control is not sticking…that is, it’s randomly changing it’s order position.
For example in the Input Control tab, I have 3 objects and I’ve set the order like so:
1. Apples
2. Oranges
3. Grapes
But when I re-open the report, it randomly changes order:
1. Grapes
2. Aples
3. Oranges
What is causing this?

But I don’t see those arrows in the Input Controls tab. I have Edit, Show Dependencies, Delete, and Collapse/Expand. Are the arrow keys supposed to be in the Input Control tabs or am I looking at the wrong place? Thanks.

Choose the Edit function.
Go in LOV (List Of Values) and then move your values in the list in the order that you want.
Take in consideration taht if new elements are going to be added at this list, you will have to add them to this LOV or it will never show up.
(The thread is talking about the Input Controls order…As I understand, you are talking about sorting values in an Input Controls…right ?)
Also…I found this a little bit strange since I was thinking that LOV in Input Controls was always sorted alphabetically…?

Actually, I’m talking about each Input Control not sorting propertly with other Input Controls The LOV is fine.

BTW…I’m not able to reproduce your problem…Input Controls always stay in the same order…what version of webi do you have ? Is it doing this every time ? Is it doing this with every reports that have Input Controls ?
