Good day.

We are using Business Objects 4.2. Currently our input and output file repositories server in Central Management Console(CMC) showing status as ‘Red’. we checked in Monitoring the available space is 3.74 %.

can any one suggest us how to make the server health back to ‘Green’.

Thanks in advance.

.

  • Clean up your FRS, removing old instances of scheduled reports for example.
  • Or ask user to clean up their inboxes.
  • Or assign more space to your FRS.

You could also adjust the threshold for monitoring your FRS to a lower one with respect to free space.

Thank you so much for your reply Andreas

We are in the process of deleting the old instances of the reports.

Is there any cache/ temporary files that can be deleted from the server for gaining space to FRS.

If it is possible ,can you please share the path of the files and steps to delete the files in the server.

Thanks in advance.

The available disk setting is for the whole disk where the FileStore is location, not just the FileStore directories themselves. Check other areas on the disk for files that can be cleaned up.

If you have a single server environment and the FileStore is on the same server with your Business Objects directory, things you can clean up would be old log files in %InstallDir%\SAP Business Objects Enterprise XI4.0\logging. Also if you have Tomcat installed on this same server, clean up the log files there.
