For some strange reason, like all of a sudden, whenever I attempt to open a report in the CMC after I schedule, I receive the 'could not initialize the report engine server" errro message. Does anyone have any ideas why this appears?
Try stopping the service, then modify the startup command line to include -trace, then startup the service again. The -trace command will more fully populate the log (located at: :\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 11.5\Logging). Once you get some juicy comments in this log you’ll have more info to research a cause and effect on.
