Is anyone suffering from random freezes with the Information Design Tool?
I have no idea why, but regularly, my IDT just freezes for no reason… Once it starts, it just freezes on most actions such as view SQL of a query or save a query…
Then if I restart the application everything is fine again…

Usual standard question: Which patch level are you on, please? Current is SP5 Patch 1 or SP4 Patch 8

Look for the build number in the help menu, then refer to this thread, please: Business Objects versions

But remember, that server as well as client tools must be on the very same patch level!
