We are in the process of implementing XI enterprise wide, replacing our existing Seagate Info 7.5. As part of the 9000 reports we are supposed to have in production by end of March, I have a collection of query based reports, all with recurring daily schedules. I imported these successfully to our development Enterprise environment, using the import wizard(s). I did the data migration as well. Following training on migrating 7.5 to XI (R1), including query based, I modified the reports to point to the repository command objects created during the export, updated the repository report, etc.
My problem is error messages I’m getting when trying to view the history or reschedule from an imported history instance (recurring or successful).
The recurring instances all imported nicely, although I think they are failing, but I cannot ‘reschedule’ off any of the imported instances. They were all scheduled to output in excel format or pdf format. The errors I’m finding first are namely:
“An error has occurred: The property with ID SI_FORMAT_XLS_EXPORT_PAGEAREAPAIR does not exist in the object”
for those that export in excel format or
"An error has occurred: The property with ID SI_ENABLED does not exist in the object "
I also sometimes get
“An error has occurred: java.lang.NullPointerException”
when I click to view history on some of the imported reports, even though the 'view latest instance" returns the last instance that did, obviously, successfully import.
Any one know what’s happening or missing here? I’ve resolved the lang nullpointer issue sometimes by reimporting individual reports, but I’d like to know what caused it to happen to begin with
I have not found any record of these error messages anywhere on line or in documentation… anyone else out there encountered this and determined the solution?
Many thanks
