Infinite time to refresh the Web I report

Hi All,

I am facing a problem in refreshing the report in WebI.
I am using a single object and a single prompt in the report. When i click on refresh, it is asking for prompt, after that , when i click on Run Query it is refreshing continuously with out returining any data. I am able to fetch the report using Desk I.

When i execute the query generated in teradata database, i am able to get the data with in 15secs.

I am using Web I XI R2.

Please help me to resolve this issue.

How much records does this query pulls?

Thanks for the quick responce.

it pulls 18 records.

Its a simple select query with one where clause.

like… Select empid from emp where dept =20…
