I am processing trying to load data to SAP ECC from flat files using Idoc inbound method and I used the below information from wiki

A few doubts I have
Do I need to have both sending Port and Recieving Port created (TCODE we21) or only sending port?
Do I need to have distribution model set (I thought it was only required for outbound)
