I need to produce a number of deskie reports, focusing on report and user actvitity, but unfortunately some of the data that I need is not found in the acctivity universe (according to my knowledge this is a standard universe that comes with all BO products, is that correct?). I’m still a newbie in the whole BO environment and my manager told me some of that data might be available in the auditor database that records all the actions happening on the system (such as document refreshes, user login etc.), is that true?
For example, I’m pretty sure that whenever a report is scheduled, a record of that is saved in the database, the problem is, is there any chance I could access that date directly from the database and what’s the best approach to do so, as it isn’t found in the universe?
I know I can produce Excel spreadsheet off the database and maybe use them as a basis instead of a universe, but I’m looking for alternative approaches in case there are any at all.
