Importing Data Directly from Excel

I have searched the forum several times and with different keys words and cannot find an answer to my question. My company is moving from the DeskTop Intelligence version11.5.0.0 to Business Objects version 12.1.0 (it is referred to by our IT department as Webi). The question is: Can you import data directly from a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet? This process works fine in the Desktop version, but I cannot find how to do it in the Webi version. Is this an option that is not document?

All I am trying to do is import a list of account numbers and then return addresses from Business Objects.

If I missed the thread dealing with this please point me to it and any help on answering the question would be greatly appreciated.

Lawson, It is very easy in BOXI3.x versions through WebIntelligence Rich client.
