I just fixed something very odd, and I wanted to pass it on…
Had a situation where a universe that was exported to our repository absolutely would NOT update on the server (via WebIntelligence)…
If you tried to Create a Document, you would get an empty universe and the older .unv file would still be on the server… I assumed an issue with permissions, but…
I for some reason decided to check my Oracle init files - did NOT have the DD-MM-RR format in the NLS_DATE parameter… changed it from YY to RR and bounced the instance- fixed it immediately.
