I have a question in IDT. There is an existing table which has been replaced by an another table in IDT. Now how it may have impacted the webi reports running on this modified universe
If the object names in the Business Layer stayed the same and they were not deleted and replaced, there should be no impact on the Web Intelligence reports.
The objects have a hidden ID of some type. If you delete an object from the universe and replace it with an object with the same name, the reports won’t be able to find it because the ID changed. The best way to preserve the reports is to update the SQL of the existing objects to point to the revised table.
