Hi All,
I have a situation where the underlying database structure can change frequently during the development phase. Can Business Objects tell me the impact on the universes/reports when changing a given data element in database. I am sure this information is stored in BO repository. Has anyone come across this before???

No, because it does not (and cannot) know of all the reports somebody
made with a specific universe…
BUT if you change only the SQL definition of an object and leave
everything else (base table(s) from database, datatype, qualification)
the same, then there will be no impact on reports :-))
I am sure this information is stored in BO repository.
Not information on existing reports…

thanks loads… even i find similar results. it just dumps the whole
report in a blob. any information regarding universes used in the
reports present in repository is available ( in some table or some
structured way) ?
any help would be greatly appreciated…
