Image from a central location in Deski Report

Hi Guys,

I want to pick an image from a central location in a deski report. I can use bit-map image object or insert image in report. However, this embbeds image with report. If I change the image anytime next I will have to change all reports.

Can anyone please confirm me html tags like will work in cell?

You can point to an image (.BMP) that is stored on a server for all of your reports. We point to a single image on our Business Objects server and anytime it changes we would simply replace the image on the server and any report using it would reflect the new image the next time the report is accessed. I have not come across the situation where the image would actually get embedded into a deski report; unless you schedule and export to a format such as .PDF, then yes, the image would get embedded as part of the export, but otherwise it just points to the source image.

** We insert the image by selecting the following from the menu:
Insert --> Picture
we then select the graphic from the network:
\\MyImageFolder\MyGraphic.bmp
