I can not start CMC!

I can not start the CMC from Central Configuration Manager.
Everytime I click start it stops right away. What could be the problem?
please advise

check the event viewer on the windows server.
Maybe the repository DB is not reachable.

Then you should have kept one thread/post rather than having multiple with same queries. Because both were interrelated problems.
