Hyperlink

I am trying to connect two reports by Hyperlink method or Opendocument method but it is not working for me. Instead of opening the report, it is running the report. Is there anyway I can just open the report which is sitting in folder X for given Customer?

Not sure what you mean when you say it’s running the report instead of opening the report? What’s the difference?

When you say sitting in folder X, I assume we’re talking about folders within the BOE XI system?

well, the difference is that the report is already ran. we just want to open the report and only view pages which are relevant. for example, customer1 should only view his/her pages.

Staylor1981:

I would search on “View-time Security.” It can be done starting with CE9. Assuming you are using the Enterprise software, here are some pdfs from sap/bobj:

If you upgrade to BOE XI 3.x then you can use Publishing which will allow you to do this a lot easier than using view time security.

use sRefresh=N&sInstance=last for the report to not to refresh and to launch the last scheduled instance.

I think this should help you
