Http Status 500-internal Server Error

We did a clean install on a brandnew testserver and configured ad sso as all the others 20 bo servers - which are working well. But this one tells me in Chrome and Edge browser: <>8080/BOE/BI

Http Status 500-internal Server Error

Fireworks works -
skipping sso works also in edge and chrome BOE/BI?skipSso=true

even using the ip directly would let me login - not sso but at least not throw this 500 error…
and ideas where to look?
Network IT says everything is ok … but obviously it is not…

One thing to check - you might need to disable anonymous authentication and enable basic authentication

Hello MarkP, are you in the global properties file?
idm.allowUnsecured=false brought us one step further - but sso is not working still - but manual login would work…

When the Browser wants to give the AD-Credentials -the 500 pops up - without AD config - no credentials communication - the login manually works…

Sorry, I’ve not got access to the back end to check, I just remember encountering that problem a few years ago and remembered that was how it got fixed.
