Irene, the reason you are getting a multivalu is because there are more then one value in that object within the report. If you move the object to the header, try applying a break at that level. it should clear up the multivalu error.

This seems like it’s a simple task, but I’m having trouble displaying an object in the page header section of a report. The query returns only one value - the company name. Put in the body of the report, it displays fine. But move it to the header, and a #Multivalue occurs. The solution suggested by the manual is to apply the Min or Max function. That worked - temporarily. Once the report was refreshed, the cell displayed “0.00”. In the Universe, the object is defined as a dimension. Why would it display 0.00? Using the data manager, I can see that the query has returned the correct result, and it is not 0.00. Using BO 4.1.2 and SQL Server 6.5. Any suggestions would be appreciated. -Irene______________________________________________________________________________________________________

I have created a report that has the following sections:
Year/Plant/Department/Employee
The employee section has a break by Month and Trip Date. Each
section has a total dollar amount for the expenses in that section. It
is a pretty straight forward report. I want to put it out in HTML format
because it can be a long report and I want managers to be able to
just click on their department to see the figures they are interested
in.
I have saved the document in HTML format by Section and All One
Page. I have unchecked the boarders box and the one to display
charts and pictures. I am saving 3 reports out of a single document.
When I open the HTML document everything in the frame is
displayed just fine. It recognizes all my sections. But when I click
on a plant, I expect to be able to view all the departments/employees
under that plant. This does not happen. I only see the first
employee in the first department. This same behavior happens no
matter what level I select from the Frame/Sections.
If I elect to view the entire report that comes up just fine in the order
I expect it to. I am using Internet Explorer V3.02.
Not sure what I might be doing wrong. Can anyone help?
