How to Use this Macro Tool

Hi

I am trying to use the tool :

But I don’t know how it works. I followed the procedure given , but classes and objects are not created in universe.

Can anyone please tell me how to use this tool.

Check the Following
1.You should have BO installed in your system where you are running this macro.
2.Go to Tools->References ,Check the “Business Objects Designer 11.5 Object library” in the Available references (Add this component).
Run the macro then it will pop up for BO Designer user name and password .Then it will ask for the universe.

Thats it done…

Ya i did this only.

I opened teh new universe and saved it locally.

Then I opened the excel file and entered the data into the excel file and then ran the macro , a pop up was displayed " Created Class Successfully. But when I checked the universe , there were no classes & objects present. Again i followed the same procedure & shotted a second try , but then also I failed. I dont know where I am going wrong ? :roll_eyes: :hb: :hb:

Which Version of BO are you working with?

As far as i remember, the add-class-functionallity was not available in BO 6.5.1 (we are on 6.5 SP4 now)
