How to use combobox and Accordian menu as a filter for a chart?

My scenario is i have data for 8 different years with 3 categories under that 5 subcategories are there. I am taking years in combobox and for categories accordian menu. How to map these two filters to a single column chart?

One approach
set-up your combo boix with year to source off your orginal data have it place the selected results into a different location in your spreadsheet.

Then build your accordian menu to source the destination data from your combo box.

Then build your graph against the destination data from the accordain

inthis way you can get both filters applied to the data displayed in your graph
