Hello
I would like to sort the objects in individual classes in Designer. Is there any way I could do it.
The users want it like this, since its easier for them to search for the objects while creating a report?
Appreciate any help
Thanks

The sort feature is called “drag and drop”. Drag the objects into the desired sort order. That’s the only way to get them in the sort order that you want. 8)

yeah, I know the ‘drag n drop’ way . But it will be crazy to do, that even for abt 400 objects…
So am trying to find a much less labour intensive way
Thanks for your reply though

Maybe there is a nasty hack that would involve modification of BO repository data. But it’s possible only for BO v6 and below. Not possible in BO XI.
Anyway, sorting objects in a class brakes default hierarchy. So it’s not considered as a best practice to sort objects.

I would argue that using default hierarchies is not a best practice.
