Please help me any one.
One of the crytal report which got scheduled to 51 customers got deleted unexpectedly from CMC. Even the report is not there in the test environment to restore it back. Could any one help me is there any way to revert the report back using sdk or some other way.
Really this is most urgent.

Input and out file store is a a place where all report are physically stored and CMS database is the place where information about all object, users and reports are stored.
If you have the bcak up of CMS database and filestore prior to deleting the file then there is chances of getting deleted file. otherwise no…

Hey Santa (or anybody who knows),
I was wondering if you could explain further here as I have need of restoring a report also. We do have a backup of the database as well as the FileStore but I do not want to restore the whole database because the backup is four weeks old. I only want to restore one report object. Can this be done? If so, how?

If you know the original filestore path of the file you could retrieve the single file from there, however the file won`t have the original report name, so might be impossible to find in the backup.
Your only option is, as suggested, restore the WHOLE system, What I would advise is as well as your system backup, take regular BIAR backups of content in the future as you can select specific reports from a BIAR backup.
Also, do you not have a development copy of the RPT file anywhere?

Well, it was an intern who was creating the report and he has not been consistent with best-programming-practices. His development copy of the report is a few months old because he got in the habit of editing stuff off of the Enterprise Server from within CR Developer.
The convoluted file paths and names seem to be invisible from CR Developer…? He accidentally deleted the report in question (?how?) from within the Central Management Console, the only place I know of to find that file path and name.
Yesterday our Network Administrator learned about the BIAR backups and will be doing those now.
The only other thing I’ve managed to find is within Crystal Reports Developer, on the “Start Page” tab. “In the Recent Reports” list, if you hover your cursor over the report that is now deleted, a ‘cecuid’ number shows up on the bottom left of the screen. It starts out “cecuid:///…”. Do you know if there is any way to decipher that or part of it so we could find the .rpt file?
